He believed that much of what controls us operates outside our conscious awareness. The traits we reject, the emotions we suppress, and the patterns we repeatedly act out can quietly shape our lives without us realizing it. Jung’s work challenges us to look inward rather than constantly blame the world around us. True growth begins when we become willing to understand the parts of ourselves we have ignored. The goal is not to become perfect. It is to become whole.view source ↗

The boring days matter more than the inspiring ones. Anyone can work hard when the vision feels exciting. Character is built when the same goal becomes repetitive, slow, and painfully ordinary. Can you respect the process when it stops entertaining you? The boring days matter more than the inspiring ones. Anyone can work hard when the vision feels exciting. His name is Ken. He spent 12 years in big tech (Amazon, then Meta) and hadn’t written a line of code in 4 years when he started. He built Harpagia, a text-based idle RPG, using AI tools like Cursor and ChatGPT. For the first 6 months, growth was slow. Then he made ONE Reddit post. Revenue jumped from ~$1K/month to $10K/month almost overnight. He quit Meta that same month. The wild part: only a few hundred active users generate over $100K/year. His stack is dead simple and cheap to run ($0 on ads). His stack: > Cursor (code editor) >ChatGPT (brainstorming + icon touch-ups) > React Native (frontend) > Firebase (backend, auth, analytics) > Vercel (web hosting) > Discord Nitro (community) > Unity Asset Store + Gamedev Market (prepackaged art) > Fiverr + Upwork (freelance screenshots, icons, videos) The peak? $18K/month. All from Reddit posts that often got roasted in the comments - turns out criticism drives the most traction. His #1 piece of advice: “If you’re not embarrassed by your V1, V2, or maybe even your V5, you’re probably not shipping early enough.”view source ↗

the best engineers i’ve worked with weren’t necessarily the ones who could solve every problem the fastest they were the ones who could look at a problem and ask: do we actually need this? what happens when this scales? and who’s going to maintain this six months from now? the best engineers i’ve worked with weren’t necessarily the ones who could solve every problem the fastest they were the ones who could look at a problem and ask: do we actually need this? what happens when this scales? and who’s going to maintain this six months from now?view source ↗

not sure why everyone is surprised by this… the funniest part is OpenAI had the exact problem Anthropic had… and somehow handled it completely backwards.. Anthropic had a massive usage problem a few months ago with 5h windows, weekly resets, max plans getting burned in days etc then they somehow just fixed it.. me… not sure why everyone is surprised by this… the funniest part is OpenAI had the exact problem Anthropic had… and somehow handled it completely backwards.. Anthropic had a massive usage problem a few months ago with 5h windows, weekly resets, max plans getting burned in days etc then they somehow just fixed it.. meanwhile OpenAI took Codex, which had insane goodwill because usage was generous they cut the $200 plan in half, added a $500 tier and basically made the compute problem everyone’s problem.. you don’t solve a usage problem by inventing more plans, limits and resets around it. and they can keep explaining why Codex is technically “worth it” all they want… less usage for the same money will never feel like more value.. Anthropic’s comeback will actually be studied.view source ↗

Per visitor. Per session. Per email. That’s how zero sales turns into a hundred grand. The fix: paste this into Claude 👇 “Audit my app for these 6 legal risks and fix them: add an age gate to signup, self-host my fonts, turn off session replay (or add consent + input masking), add an unsubscribe link and postal address to every marketing email, show renewal terms right next to the subscribe button and walk me through registering a DMCA agent.” Save this before you launch. Following me is the cheapest co-founder you’ll ever hire. Not legal advice. Talk to a lawyer about your specific situation.view source ↗

Given a set of objects and a set of bins, Rebalancer assigns one to the other to optimize your objectives under your constraints, including hardware placement, service and task placement, traffic routing, and more. It separates how a problem is specified from how it's stored, solved, and debugged, with both an optimal MIP solver and a parallelized local search solver. At Meta it solves ~40 million assignment problems a day across 30+ problem formulations. P99 solve time is 12 seconds on a problem with 265k objects and 3.2k bins. 🔗 Read more on our engineering blog: https://t.co/9D3jAGfOdQview source ↗
