Use libraries like @temporalio. 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿: a full Linux VM, browser, and file system, with skills and memories stored as plain markdown files it can read and write. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿, 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲: users give high-level direction while a separate review model handles safety checks on individual commands. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀: the main agent keeps the conversation lean and delegates heavy work to subagents that start with fresh context. That is how you get the illusion of infinite context. 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝗴: a static system prompt maximizes prompt caching, and long tool descriptions load only when needed. Full lecture below. Enjoy!view source ↗

His reasoning runs counter to what most people think—he says the bottleneck isn't that models aren't strong enough anymore. His take is that the real bottleneck for AI today is how slowly the world is accepting and adopting it. The technology is already sitting there, but society is still scrambling to catch up. He even threw out an even bolder hypothesis: even if models completely stopped improving from today onward, the way the economy and the world operate would still be rewritten for decades. To use an old analogy, when electricity was first invented, generators already existed, but it took factories, homes, and cities decades to truly integrate electricity. AI is standing right at that same spot now. Whoever helps the world cross this hurdle will be standing at the birthplace of new companies. He calls this a civilization-scale opportunity. The most counterintuitive part is that the rules of competition have changed. Ten years ago, when he founded Scale, a small company taking on giants was David vs. Goliath—you could only win by being clever and finding cracks. Now, small teams equipped with intelligent agents have turned into mecha Goliaths, while the giants have become the traditional ones. That's because big companies' processes, divisions, and reporting lines are all designed for a world without AI—they're slow to turn around. Small teams, on the other hand, build from day one in an AI-native way. With fewer people, they're actually able to go head-to-head. Put plainly, the core of a mecha Goliath is a new kind of organization: a small group of people plus a large swarm of intelligent agents. The real burden on big companies has never been technology—it's organizational inertia. This is also a signal to everyone building organizations or leading teams: future competview source ↗
