That said, preventing it, is a pretty simple 3 pronged process: 1. Ensure agents create high quality PRs in the first place 2. Have good agent PR reviewers to catch problems before they get to prod 3. Use feature flags and have a (regularly tested) disaster recovery process if a problem manages to make it to prod Swap "agent" with "software developer" and you have a process that actually has always been a good idea. How I do this is the subject of my YouTube video I'm publishing tomorrow.view source ↗

RJ Mitte just admitted something wild about Breaking Bad money: “I’ve paid more in taxes than I got from the show.” Young kid. Big team. Traveling the world. Everything went right back into the business. So he hired a business manager to protect the funds… And she got him. Hard. He’d write a check for his taxes…… RJ Mitte just admitted something wild about Breaking Bad money: “I’ve paid more in taxes than I got from the show.” Young kid. Big team. Traveling the world. I'm 26. I deeply regret spending so much of my younger years playing games and watching anime. The freshest, most youthful days of my life wasted away. If you're 20, please lock in. His message? “Competition is for losers.” In his famous 2014 Stanford lecture, Thiel explained why the biggest businesses don’t win by fighting competitors. They win by building something nobody else can offer. Stop asking how to beat your competition. Ask yourself: What can I build that makes competition irrelevant? Because the goal isn’t to win the same game. It’s to create a game nobody else can play.view source ↗

The restriction of Full being subscriber-only sucks even more. I should specify that this is Muse Wonder Full. Standard Wonder (the one over API) is significantly worse. The work was happening. Nothing showed it in numbers the client cared about. 2-Expectations were set on the sales call and never made it to delivery. 3-Problems surfaced at month end, after the client had already decided to churn. 4-Account managers didn't have the proper time to identify and solve at-risk clients' issues. None of the three had a quality problems. All three had an onboarding, reporting and visibility problems. (Honestly the trend surprised me) (Biggest solution trends below)view source ↗

My most bigoted view is that I will never, ever code with a Meta product, no matter how amazing it is. I would rather sell my fleet of computers and exit the digital world entirely. As a young kid, I had a big team, traveled the world, and spent money keeping my career going. Everything went back into the business.” A bad business manager made things worse. “During the last four years of my highest-earning series, I wanted to protect my money. I was 17 or 18, and everyone was telling me to get a proper accountant.” Instead, he got scammed. “Dude, I got eaten alive.” He says the woman targeted 14 other actors, including people with disabilities and older performers. “I’d write a check to pay my taxes, and instead of paying them, she’d send me a fake tax filing and keep the money.” He still takes responsibility for what happened. “At the end of the day, though, it was my negligence. The IRS doesn’t really care about you.” 😔 Rip Rj 🕊️view source ↗
