I was COO from before FTX even had a name, it was my baby, and I was the last one out of the Bahamas after Sam got extradited. I lost everything I had on it and it took me a long time to get over, so I have zero interest in defending the people who caused this. The media loves the story that FTX blew up because we were all partying in the Bahamas, but the place I worked looked nothing like that. We had under 200 people in the core company at its peak, not counting subsidiaries, when other exchanges our size had thousands, so a lot of us were doing 16 to 18 hour days for over three years and barely had time to sleep, and whenever we walked in, day or night, Sam was at his desk. I worked with Caroline and never once saw her get aggressive like she does in this trailer. She’s quiet and mild, and often lost in her own thoughts. Most of us didn’t even know she and Sam were dating until we read about it after the bankruptcy, and I never saw him so much as put an arm around anyone. FTX’s collapse ruined so many people’s lives, including ours, and Netflix decided to make it a love story. Shame on you @netflix.view source ↗

SaaS brands pay a cut of the ad spend, since a software sale can take weeks to close 6/ Wispr pays 7% of ad spend, uncapped, paid out every 7 days 7/ New creators get a guaranteed minimum, which is how Wispr signed good ones before it had a track record -> $1,000 for 20 to 25 videos a month. A creator who earns $500 in commissions gets the other $500, and once they earn more than $1,000 on their own the guarantee stops 8/ Each creator works on one customer segment -> A customer no ad was speaking to, a format nobody could shoot, a country with nothing running. One creator per gap 9/ No two videos are allowed to look alike -> Meta's Andromeda clusters videos that are 50 to 60% similar and suppresses them, so 1,000 talking heads get treated as one ad 10/ They recruit on Instagram with keyword search -> Search "UGC creator", "tech", "SaaS", mine the followers and comments of every good creator, send 100 to 200 DMs in a week 11/ 50 creators accepted out of 5,000+ applications -> $220k paid out so far, top creator makes $12k a month 12/ Creators get $100 for referring someone at their level or above -> No beginners on the team 13/ They scaledview source ↗

I'm forgetting things that I'll never need to know again. I embrace the shedding of useless knowledge. The latent experience is still there. When the agent suggests going one direction and my gut reaction rejects it before I can articulate it, that's what I'm keeping. I'm forgetting things that I'll never need to know again. Magnific adds creative direction to your prompt, guiding the composition, mood and style before the image is generated. My thoughts? It definitely tends to be more creative and photo-realistic than off the shelf GPT-2 Image. At times it almost feels Krea 2 like but as to if that's in the mix or not hard to say. I put it against the leading competition: anime ninjas, pirates and an anime-to-real-actress test in the view below. Does Magnific’s extra sauce make a difference? Watch and pick your winner. 👇view source ↗

Right now, someone is typing: "What's the best tool for [your category]?" Strangers are answering. Some of them name your competitor. That thread might rank on Google. It might show up when someone researches the category with an AI tool. And you're not in it. Most marketing teams know Reddit matters… Very few actually have a process for it. They either: → Ignore it because it feels risky → Show up with an obvious ad and get roasted → Try it for two weeks, then drop it when things get busy Here's what works: 1. Find threads where buyers are already deciding. 2. Read the community before posting. 3. Write the most useful comment in the thread. 4. Mention your product only when it actually fits. 5. Keep doing it every week. The test I use for every comment: If you delete the brand name, is it still worth reading? If yes, you're participating. If not, you're advertising and Reddit will let you know. Buyers used to make decisions on your website. Now a lot of those decisions happen in conversations you don't control. The only move is to get involved and be useful in them.view source ↗
