Until now, if you wanted an animated explainer for your product, a pitch or a launch, you either learned After Effects or paid a motion designer and waited. Claude just shipped Claude Motion. You hand it a report, a chart or just an idea, and it builds a short animation you can download as an MP4. It writes the animation as code, so you can change any word, number or timing after. Here's what this actually means if you run a business. → Hand it your monthly numbers and get a 30 second animated explainer back → Your app's onboarding walkthrough, fully animated, no motion designer → Drop it into Higgsfield or Runway and add real footage on top I've been getting Claude to code motion graphics for a while now, and setting it up was always the hard part. If you make any kind of video for your business and you're not trying this soon, you're doing it the slow way.view source ↗

Pine & Gilmore saw this coming way back in 1998, in their famous HBR article, Welcome to the Experience Economy. And this young Indian brand, Comet, has clearly got the message! They’re not just selling sneakers. They’re letting you have a hand in creating them. Clever. Because the experience becomes as memorable as the product. I hope they give the established global sneaker brands in India a run for their money. I’m ordering a pair. Though I’d better keep a first-aid kit handy in case I knick myself with the knife! 🙂view source ↗

His reasoning: a $100K/month AI consulting business for small businesses beats chasing a 0.1% VC lottery ticket. The math is brutal and obvious once you say it out loud. Most founders spend years grinding for a shot at diluted equity, a 10-year exit, and a 95% failure rate. Cuban is pointing at a different path — one where AI tools let a 20-year-old build real cash flow fast, without giving up ownership or control. The contrarian insight isn't "consulting is underrated." It's that the AI moment has made consulting scalable in ways it never was before. One person can now deliver what used to take an agency. $100K/month is $1.2M/year. Profitable from day one. No board. No cap table. No begging for a Series A. That's the business Cuban wishes he'd had access to at 20.view source ↗

Inspired by yesterday's reddit thread on how someone used Claude Code to find a new planet, I spent this morning searching NASA TESS data on nearby stars that TESS scanned less thoroughly (at low cadence). To my surprise the pipeline discovered two previously undocumented exoplanet candidates: • TIC 370612437 (Cygnus constellation, 158 light-years): dims by 0.02% every 3.56 days → ~1.0× Earth's size. • HIP 114417 (Andromeda constellation, 134 ly): 0.03% every 4.93 days → ~1.1× Earth. The method to find them is to search for periodic dims in light coming from a star when a planet passes in front of it. For both the candidate exoplanets, the dip repeats 55 and 21 times respectively across 4 separate observing years (2019-2024). These are obviously tentative and unconfirmed, but several signals point to them being credible candidates: • same dip in NASA's and MIT's separate processing of the images • hide one year's dip and predict its times from rest of the dips (matched in 3 of 4 years) • flip light curves to create fake signals and validate observed dips against it The method and results were reviewed by independent agents: Codex and fresh Claude. Important caveat: a faint neighbouring pair of eclipsing stars could fake the dip, so these exoplanets remain candidates pending further verification. What's next: report to NASA's ExoFOP as Community TESS Objects of Interest, so astronomers can verify. The next scan of these stars via TESS will happen in Aug 2027 - Apr 2028, if the preregistered dip predictions hold up, these are indeed strong candidates. Nicknames for these exoplanets: Aakanksha (Sanskrit: aspiration) and Orbit (well, Orbit)view source ↗
