@mitchellh In the prior post it was tip, as I just compared against what I ran daily (smol change adding -Dmacos-native-cpu to squeeze a bit more perf out of it) here it's tagged just to get an "official" result. @mitchellh In the prior post it was tip, as I just compared against what I ran daily (smol change adding -Dmacos-native-cpu to squeeze a bit more perf out of it) here it's tagged just to get an "official" result.view source ↗

Pick the one closest to your daily work. → OpenDots: profiles, memories, and scheduled activity. → OpenMuse: a web and mobile agent workspace. → OpenTag: AI help inside Slack conversations. → OpenBot: several agents working in one chat. The demo reports around 6,000 GitHub stars for OpenBot. OpenDots also uses an MIT license, so you can change its code. Your model and service choices still shape the running costs. Save this video, you’ll have all four options in one place. Want the SOP? DM me. 💬view source ↗

Tip is dramatically faster depending on workloads. But, it doesn't matter, I can wait for your app to release and compare myself. Both apps are comfortably in the realm of "fast enough" (same thing I said for Alacritty, Kitty, etc., the enemy of speed isn't them, but iTerm2, Terminal app, etc.). As long as someone is using a "fast" terminal, I'm happy, doesn't have to be mine!! Btw Superlogical's terminal is by design slower than Ghostty. We're prioritizing other tradeoffs. I mean, I guess depending on the context, but like, if you're on a shitty LTE connection trying to view your terminal IO speed isn't the issue anymore lol.view source ↗

It is Ghostty, the app, latest version from gh releases. Tern is in closed-beta, same as yours, but I'm open to trading invites, I'm sure it'd make us both faster in the end, which benefits everyone :) p.s. I couldn't really read your prior comment as anything but an insult, hence the reaction, but I don't honestly care much for the drama that followed it. I did praise your work just a day earlier, and have been a happy Ghostty user for multiple years now.view source ↗

In 1984, a researcher found that students with a 1:1 tutor did better than 98% of a regular class. we've known the answer for 40 years. we just couldn't give everyone a tutor. for language learners, now we can. Software that's "finished" (read: stable) is going to become increasingly rare in the future. Feature packed, PM wet-dreamed software will dominate incessantly to their own irrelevance. Ironically, the feature slop extravaganza will be built using 50yr old "finished" UNIX tools. Software that's "finished" (read: stable) is going to become increasingly rare in the future. I've been playing around with this speech to text model. It's incredibly capable. Amazing that it all fits in 17MB. That's an entire speech to text neural network squeezed down to the size of an MP3 of Hey Jude. I've been playing around with this speech to text model. It's incredibly capable.
