5 months after launching traxy hit $500k arr. goal is $1m by december 31. my emotional state is way too tied to this business.. when we first launched I felt invincible. the excitement and early success was addicting. then...bugs and churn. problems we didn't forecast for. spent 30 days head down trying to code wh… 5 months after launching traxy hit $500k arr. goal is $1m by december 31. my emotional state is way too tied to this business.. when we first launched I felt invincible. the excitement and early success was addicting. then...bugs and churn. problems we didn't forecast for. spent 30 days head down trying to code what should've been a simple feature. went from feeling like a boss to a child. and now, while signups and revenue explode, somewhere in between. that's probably where i belong. what's funny is i went through the exact same thing with windmill growth on our way to our first $1m. up, down, middle, up again. now if windmill loses a client, i'm fine. if we sell a new deal, i'm calm. that business never freaks me out. traxy is on its way to that state. here's what's different (and exciting): with windmill, I'm so dependent on talent. the agency has 4 incredible full-time writers - and nobody who's been promoted into a full-time role has ever left the company. for it to grow, i need to keep finding people like that. but traxy...traxy is a product. it's already built, and we're constantly improving it. and as long as we keep doing that, it's scary-easy to scale. super proud of my team for getting to $500k in almost no time. now it's time to push harder than ever.view source ↗
