Audemars Piguet and Vacheron Constantin in particular were hurt by the presence of ultra-thin watches, which both specialized in during the golden age. You inevitably sacrifice accuracy for thinness. If you run any part of your business on Claude, it's one of the most useful things they've put out this month. It's about one problem: how do you know the setup you built is actually getting better, not just looking better? Their answer lives in the claude-api skill for Claude Code: /claude-api build-eval interviews you, collects real examples of the job (past transcripts, support tickets, cases you write by hand) and builds a test from them. /claude-api hillclimb then improves your setup one change at a time and checks every change against examples it kept aside. If a change only helps on the examples it practised on, it gets reverted. That last part matters most when you're running alone. Nobody's reviewing your AI's work but you, so the test has to do the reviewing.view source ↗

The sample sizes are small, and to measure accuracy properly you should really test in 5 positions. But Zenith, Omega, and Longines were the three brands that dominated golden age observatory trials. If nothing else, this shows they still regulate well today. The sample sizes are small, and to measure accuracy properly you should really test in 5 positions. One viewer for images and video, themed to match your desktop. Controls stay out of the way until you move the mouse. Browse the rest of the folder without leaving the viewer. When you want more, hit Enter and you're in the full library view, starting from the file you opened. Works with your existing folders. Nothing to import.view source ↗
