The test was on a treadmill, starting at 6 km/h. The speed increased by 2 km/h every 3 minutes. At each stage, the doctor stopped the treadmill for 15 seconds to take a blood sample from my finger and measure my lactate levels. I passed out at 22 km/h (~25 minutes). For the past 2 years, I've taken my fitness seriously: - Cardio 3-4x a week - Lifting 2-3x a week I was worried about losing muscle mass, which also matters for longevity, but I didn’t. In fact, I’ve gained almost 10 kg since last year. I’m now 84 kg at 181 cm, and I’m happy with that. My goal for next year is to improve my VO₂ max and get stronger without gaining more weight. Marc, when you read this next year, here's your resume: - Bench press: 100 kg × 5 reps - Squat: 120 kg × 5 reps - Deadlift: 150 kg × 5 reps - 10 km: 39 minutes Good luck 🫡view source ↗

He didn't flatter you. He didn't tell you what you wanted to hear. He told you what you needed to hear. That was Nana. Straightforward. Rough, honest and had the most beautiful smile. He always had a strange way of showing affection. He would shout at you first, and then somewhere between the third or fourth insult, you realised you were being hugged. He loved me and I loved him back. He was a mentor, a teacher, a critic and a friend who beat me and everyone else around him in carrom game after game and relished his victories. Nana your intensity, laughter , madness and love will always stay with us. I just wish we had time to have more conversations, another argument, another cup of tea and a game of carrom. You have left a void not only in the world of cinema but in the hearts of all Indians and the world. All I can say is, I will miss you dearly and carry your words in my heart till the end of time....'hero banne ke chakar mein actor mat khona' May your soul rest in peace Nana and Allah bless you. The Heavens will be blessed to have you... a masterful actor and an unbeatable carrom champion. Love you and miss you dearly!! Too soon my Hero Actor! RIP.view source ↗

The 45-minute tutorial covers building paid apps with AI, and Aura now accounts for just 20% of his revenue. His approach: 1. Find ideas in the tools you already use. 2. Revisit old products with today’s AI capabilities. 3. Use Opus 5.5 for frontend, Codex for the harness. 4. Generate a baseline, then improve it piece by piece. 5. Specify your stack and future requirements upfront. 6. Give each feature one strong design reference. 7. Add AI that generates something useful, not just displays information. 8. Have the agent score its work out of 10, screenshot mistakes and fix them. 9. Publish a demo, feed user feedback into your agent, and ship improvements. Three prompts to try: **1. Build a mockup app** “Create an app from my meeting notes for editable 2D and 3D mockups. Let users swap screens, animate results, and create YouTube covers, X posts, motion graphics and website creatives. Use React + Vite, Supabase for the database, real-time collaboration, teams and invitations, and Stripe Managed Payments. References: {ref} for mockups, Figma for 2D tools, Spline for 3D, Figma Community for the library, and Linear for the landing page. Verify the work and fix the issues you find.” **2. Add AI icon generation** “Build a tool that generates icons from prompts. Evaluate Claude, Higgsfield and OpenAI for the workflow and use a provider that supports the required image generation. I’ll sign into the provider’s website. Help create the API key, store it securely server-side using Firebase or Supabase, and connect generation. Tell me which steps require my input.” **3. Set up payments** “Configure Stripe Managed Payments, the payment workflow and all required webhooks. Complete the setup you can, then walk me through anything requiring my input. Assume I’ve never set up payments before.” The post also includes 20% off Mobbin for design inspiration: `httview source ↗

AI coding tools are getting scary good. But there's still one thing they can't reliably replace: Your judgment. AI can give you 10 solutions. You still have to know which one won't destroy your project 3 months later. Agree or disagree? AI coding tools are getting scary good. Both models produced geometry that passed. Passing is where the similarity ended. > BRIEF - one identical object description handed to both models, cold > BUILD - each one produces parts, joints and materials with no further prompting > OPEN - every output loaded in real software instead of being scored on paper > BEND - the models pushed until something deforms wrong or a pivot fails > PRICE - the cost of each run set against how much human cleanup it needed Haiku 5.5 is the cheaper model by a wide margin, and on a benchmark score the gap looks small. The gap appears after the file opens. Geometry that scores well can still arrive with pivots in places nothing bends. Opus 5.5 holds the constraints Haiku drops. Clearances, wall thickness, parts that have to stay separate to move. That is the number nobody publishes. A cheap run plus two hours of cleanup is not a cheap run. Benchmarks measure the output. The thing worth measuring is what the output costs you after it exists. Every failure the benchmark missed and the real cost per usable model sit in the breakdown below.view source ↗
