Sol 6.1 (or a '6.2' ideally)-level coding at something closer to Luna prices is the product I think people want right now. Smarter models are past the point of diminishing returns for a lot of the work I do now (mostly game scripts). What is missing for me is a model I can run all day, drain the sub, and supplement without feeling like I made a bad financial decision or I'm wasting time.view source ↗

Here's what he said: "There's definitely a pang of sadness to that as a UI designer. We fought it for a while. We were like, no, we really need to keep everybody in the Granola UI for everything. But as soon as you become a big enough enterprise, it's inevitable you have all of this internal tooling. If Granola doesn't play nice with that internal tooling, then it's a non-starter. At this point we're at peace with the fact that for a bunch of workflows, the best way to use Granola is to capture the context, then use it through your internal agent." 📌 Watch the full episode here: https://t.co/4f5zTNl4Kcview source ↗

• twitter 1w negativeI just bought the $500 ChatGPT plan after Tibo’s post. Which is funny, because this is actually me cutting my OpenAI spending by $700/month. Which is funny, because this is actually me cutting my OpenAI spending by $700/month. Reasons: - this account still has 2 banked resets from when it was on Plus, and they survived, so I can finally use them on the $500 plan - my six $200 subscriptions just expired ($1,200/month), and I decided not to renew them - Tibo just announced 28 days of possible resets A month ago I paid OpenAI $1,200 because Astra had just come out and, for what I was doing, it was noticeably better than Opus 5. A month later, that changed a lot. I’m now paying OpenAI 60% less, and I’ll probably use some of the difference on a few Claude subscriptions. I’m 17, so $1,200/month on AI is obviously a ridiculous amount of money. I use Codex a lot, I have my workflows built around it, and after using Astra this much you also just get used to how the model works. That’s probably the main reason I’m not dropping OpenAI completely yet. But Codex has a lot of problems right now. The limits got worse, UX is worse, and I really don’t feel like OpenAI is paying much attention to the feedback from people who already pay them. My previous post listed some pretty basic Codex problems and got around 1,000 likes in a day. No one at OpenAI has publicly addressed these issues yet. OpenAI is getting $700 less from me, I’ll see what that number looks like next month.view source ↗
