Anthropic tested this with an egg-drop challenge on Claude Managed Agents. → Opus 5.5 + 10 Haiku 5.5 subagents: 32 meters in 58 seconds for $0.14 → Opus 5.5 alone: 3 min 37 sec for $0.47 That's roughly 3x faster and 70% cheaper. But there's another trick most people will miss. Claude Code's built-in Explore subagent follows your main model. So if Opus is your main model, even searching your codebase can burn expensive Opus tokens. The fix? Create your own Explore subagent with `model: haiku`. It replaces the built-in one. Here's the setup I'd use: → Opus 5.5 on high effort for the main session → Haiku 5.5 for exploring code and researching docs → Opus 5.5 for the subagent that edits code and runs tests Let each model do what it's best at. I've included a prompt below that asks Claude Code to configure this setup, check your existing agents and settings, and show you the proposed changes BEFORE editing any files. Paste it into Claude Code 👇 "Set up my Claude Code to match this tree: 1. Check `claude --version`. If it's below 2.1.293, stop and tell me to run `claude update`, since Haiku 5.5 needs it. If I'm on Bedrock or Vertex, tell me, because Haiku has to be a full model ID there. 2. For the three subagents, reuse fitting ones from `~/.claude/agents` and `.claude/agents`, and propose new ones in `~/.claude/agents` only for missing roles. Explore (replacing the built-in one) and the researcher get `model: haiku` and `effort: medium`. Explore gets only Read, Grep and Glob; the researcher also gets WebFetch and WebSearch. The worker gets `model: opus` and `effort: medium` and handles edits and tests. Give each subagent a description that says what work to hand it, and write Explore's to match the built-in one's purpose. If any already sets a different model, or the project has one with the same name, list it and ask me before changing it. 3. In `~/.claude/setview source ↗

Claude coordinates it, runs each task as a parallel cloud thread and you set the instructions, repos and memory once instead of repeating them. You can also hand off a batch of tasks, walk away and come back to the Overview pane showing which threads finished, which PRs are ready and which need your answer. Every morning it scans what's trending and pulls the top posts from the last 24 hours. Then it hands him 10 content ideas, ranked best to worst. He picks one. An AI writes it in his voice. Another one proofreads it. Another one publishes it across 5 platforms. One idea. Five platforms. Barely any manual work. Once a post is live, the system watches what gets liked, shared, and saved, then feeds that back in so the next post lands better. So the content gets sharper without him doing anything. The numbers speak for themselves. 5 million views in 2 weeks. 100,000 bookmarks in 2 months. Bookmarks are the signal that matters. People only save what they plan to come back to, and when enough people do, the platform pushes the post to even more people. That's why his posts keep climbing while he's in class, asleep, or off doing something else. The real edge now isn't working more hours. It's building something that keeps working when you stop. Watch the video, then read the full breakdown below. Same heads up as before: the age and income claims are the type people try to poke holes in, so only keep them if you can back them up.view source ↗

Just because you want to enter the Indian market doesn't mean you get to mock people and lecture India on what it should do. And please stop selling this idea that you are coming to save poor Indians. Starlink is VERY expensive. It's not free internet that you are giving away out of kindness. You are here to do business, just like every other company. So let's not pretend this is some social service. Nobody is stopping you from making an offer. Make it affordable, follow Indian rules, and let the government decide. That's how it works. Please keep attitude in check, you just sell internet. You don't own India.view source ↗

Then when Jev came out, every SaaS company is like, 'This is the greatest thing ever.'" Diogo: "In the SaaSpocalypse story, the story I feel has panned out really poorly is that software is very cheap and perhaps easy to replicate. I could believe the former. I could not believe the latter, because a lot of the stuff happens beneath the hood." "I think SaaS will be one of the largest winners of the whole AI game." But she gave him the voting rights to every share she received. Bezos kept 75% of their Amazon holdings, and his ex-wife helped make sure he wouldn't lose control of the company. They had built Amazon together from the beginning. Jeff and MacKenzie met while working at the hedge fund D.E. Shaw in New York. They married in 1993. A year later, they drove across the country to Seattle. MacKenzie drove while Jeff worked on the business plan for what would become Amazon. She was there in the early days, handling accounting and helping negotiate contracts. 25 years later, their marriage was ending. Their combined fortune was estimated at more than $130B, almost entirely tied to Amazon shares. Then private messages between Jeff and another woman became public. Bezos accused the National Enquirer's publisher of threatening to release intimate photos of him. The divorce was already public. Now his private life had become a national story. And investors were watching something else. Who would control Amazon? Together, Jeff and MacKenzie owned roughly 16% of the company, which was valued at nearly $900B. Under the settlement announced in April 2019, the shares were divided 75% to Jeff and 25% to MacKenzie. That left her with about 4% of Amazon. Worth $36B. Enough to make her one of the richest women in the world. But the ownership agreement had another condition. Jeff retained voting control over MacKenzie's shares. She also gave up her interests in The Washington Post and Blue Origin. When the divorce was finalized in July, her Amazon stake was worth approximately $38B. She had helped build the business, spent 25 years married to its founder, and left with one of the largest divorce settlements in history. But Bezos still controlled the votes attached to the entire 16% stake they once owned together. She kept $36B in stock. He kept the voting power.view source ↗
