He had no budget. So he ran the numbers: iOS ads cost ~4x more than Android, but iOS users only convert ~20% better. The math just didn’t math. So he doubled down on Android, spent ~$500K on Google Ads, and made almost the exact same amount back break-even ads that pumped Journable, his AI calorie counter, to nearly 1M downloads and $125K in the last 28 days. His app is dead simple: type in “yogurt, granola, blueberries, almonds” or snap a photo, and it spits out calories + macros. No database digging. No bloat.view source ↗

Meet Crankobot, built using my First Customer Finder skill. Give it your product or service, the type of customer you want, and the area you want to target. It searches public sources and turns the findings into a ranked shortlist of potential customers, with a clear next step for each one. -> evidence explaining why each prospect could be a good fit -> source links so you can check the research yourself -> verified public contact routes, when available -> personalized outreach drafts, ready to review and send -> feedback to refine your next search -> local history to avoid duplicate prospects -> exclude businesses you’ve already contacted -> organized reports + CSV export For this demo, I asked it to find cafés in my city with active Instagram profiles that could benefit from a website. You review the findings and choose who to contact. Nothing gets sent automatically. Add Crankobot -> link in bioview source ↗

Here’s why it’s going to WRECK ZoomInfo and Apollo over the next 36 months: First, we have to set the stage... —— WHAT IS MOLTSETS AND HOW IS IT DIFFERENT??? MoltSets will deliver on five key pillars of contact data that until now have not existed: 1/ Unlimited APIs 2/ High Quality 3/ High coverage 4/ High API rate limits 5/ THROWAWAY PRICE You used to be able to get 3 to 4 of these, but until MoltSets, you couldn’t get all five. —— HOW ARE WE DELIVERING HIGH QUALITY??? We are going to re-scrape all 47m international LinkedIn slugs every 3 days, and re-validate all of their corresponding email addresses every 3 days. For $27/mo. It’s like Apollo AND MillionVerifier at a fraction of the price. That solution will be live Nov 1. To reiterate … Every record you pull will have a “profile last updated” and “email last validated” under 3 days ago. Insane. —— IS IT REALLY UNLIMITED FOR EVERYTHING? We price plans with rate limits. Our $27/mo guy is an individual rep working out of Claude. The $97 guy is a marketer at an early stage SaaS rolling an agentic GTM stack. The $397 guy is a leadgen agency working 10 accounts. The $997 guys are Taylor and 🦾Eric. Oh yea - you will have to pay 15c for real-time carrier-verified mobile numbers through bolt-on plans starting at $27/mo. Should be 1/2 the price of ANYWHERE else. —— WILL YOU HAVE VENDOR WATERFALLS? We can’t figure out how to do that without horrible latency, since we are API-only and not storing any of your data once you pull it. So NO. But everybody says our coverage is great, so we decided we didn’t need to add waterfalls. —— WHY MOLTSETS WRECKS ZOOMINFO AND APOLLO For a brief history of disruption in the contact data market: - Dunn and Bradstreet, great data, horrible UX, $100k+ - ZoomInfo - great UX, $20k+ - Apollo - Unlimited $99/seat —> but now $149/mo for 1 seview source ↗

I was COO from before FTX even had a name, it was my baby, and I was the last one out of the Bahamas after Sam got extradited. I lost everything I had on it and it took me a long time to get over, so I have zero interest in defending the people who caused this. The media loves the story that FTX blew up because we were all partying in the Bahamas, but the place I worked looked nothing like that. We had under 200 people in the core company at its peak, not counting subsidiaries, when other exchanges our size had thousands, so a lot of us were doing 16 to 18 hour days for over three years and barely had time to sleep, and whenever we walked in, day or night, Sam was at his desk. I worked with Caroline and never once saw her get aggressive like she does in this trailer. She’s quiet and mild, and often lost in her own thoughts. Most of us didn’t even know she and Sam were dating until we read about it after the bankruptcy, and I never saw him so much as put an arm around anyone. FTX’s collapse ruined so many people’s lives, including ours, and Netflix decided to make it a love story. Shame on you @netflix.view source ↗

SaaS brands pay a cut of the ad spend, since a software sale can take weeks to close 6/ Wispr pays 7% of ad spend, uncapped, paid out every 7 days 7/ New creators get a guaranteed minimum, which is how Wispr signed good ones before it had a track record -> $1,000 for 20 to 25 videos a month. A creator who earns $500 in commissions gets the other $500, and once they earn more than $1,000 on their own the guarantee stops 8/ Each creator works on one customer segment -> A customer no ad was speaking to, a format nobody could shoot, a country with nothing running. One creator per gap 9/ No two videos are allowed to look alike -> Meta's Andromeda clusters videos that are 50 to 60% similar and suppresses them, so 1,000 talking heads get treated as one ad 10/ They recruit on Instagram with keyword search -> Search "UGC creator", "tech", "SaaS", mine the followers and comments of every good creator, send 100 to 200 DMs in a week 11/ 50 creators accepted out of 5,000+ applications -> $220k paid out so far, top creator makes $12k a month 12/ Creators get $100 for referring someone at their level or above -> No beginners on the team 13/ They scaledview source ↗

Magnific adds creative direction to your prompt, guiding the composition, mood and style before the image is generated. My thoughts? It definitely tends to be more creative and photo-realistic than off the shelf GPT-2 Image. At times it almost feels Krea 2 like but as to if that's in the mix or not hard to say. I put it against the leading competition: anime ninjas, pirates and an anime-to-real-actress test in the view below. Does Magnific’s extra sauce make a difference? Right now, someone is typing: "What's the best tool for [your category]?" Strangers are answering. Some of them name your competitor. That thread might rank on Google. It might show up when someone researches the category with an AI tool. And you're not in it. Most marketing teams know Reddit matters… Very few actually have a process for it. They either: → Ignore it because it feels risky → Show up with an obvious ad and get roasted → Try it for two weeks, then drop it when things get busy Here's what works: 1. Find threads where buyers are already deciding. 2. Read the community before posting. 3. Write the most useful comment in the thread. 4. Mention your product only when it actually fits. 5. Keep doing it every week. The test I use for every comment: If you delete the brand name, is it still worth reading? If yes, you're participating. If not, you're advertising and Reddit will let you know. Buyers used to make decisions on your website. Now a lot of those decisions happen in conversations you don't control. The only move is to get involved and be useful in them.view source ↗
