• twitter 1w positiveYour side projects should be compounding very fast with AI. Every problem solved can be re-used or extracted into a generic module. Every design decision should make the next thing beautiful by default. Your agents should be constantly stealing from your past decisions. Your side projects should be compounding very fast with AI. • twitter 1w positiveIf an AI tool schedules your posts, check that they actually went out. On Saturday all 6 of mine failed. No error. No notification. The queue looked perfectly fine. So I tried a second tool. That one posted, but stripped every link out first. A full day of reach, gone. Article posts now go through X's own schedule… If an AI tool schedules your posts, check that they actually went out. On Saturday all 6 of mine failed. No error. No notification. Boring, and it works. Automation doesn't remove the checking. It just moves it.view source ↗

I am working on building a custom video editing workflow for short form and long form content both (yes, a video I posted today on YT is fully edited by opus 5.5!), almost like an AI powered CLI of sorts for video editing + the main claude code harness as well + browser for me to preview the work and give feedback to agent Today claude suggested an approach where it is editing the video in multiple chunks, instead of a single pass. This makes it very easy to fix a change in a specific chunk, render only that chunk (expensive), and then concat it with previous chunks (very fast) to make editing ultrafast. I don't know if other video editors do this (or can even do this at all), but this is such a smart trick as long as you are able to handle the underlying video state properly. Claude is on track to totally replace all my video editing tools. It is borderline insanity.view source ↗
