Good luck one shotting this though 🤙
Most technical founders still suck at reaching the customers!

The top 20 still went from $147B to $192B, and the biggest jump came from a $10B assistant that is still in early access.
Here are the 20 most valuable AI agent startups, and who raised since our September board:
1. Cognition, $48B. Coding. Up from $26B, closed Sep 8.
2. Sierra, $15.8B. Customer service agents.
3. Harvey, $15.5B. Legal. Up from $11B, closed Sep 9.
4. OpenEvidence, $15B. Clinical search. Up from $12B (reported).
5. Lovable, $13.3B. Vibe coding.
6. Instinct, $10B. Personal assistant. Up from $2.5B, closed Sep 28.
7. Mercor, $10B. AI recruiting. Still in talks at $20B.
8. Replit, $9B. Coding.
9. Glean, $7.2B. Enterprise agents.
10. Clay, $7.1B. GTM agents. Up from $5B, closed Sep 9.
11. Legora, $5.6B. Legal. Talks cut to $8.5B.
12. Abridge, $5.3B. Clinical notes.
13. Factory, $5B. Coding. Up from $1.5B, closed Sep 15.
14. Wonderful, $5B. Customer agents.
15. Decagon, $4.5B. Customer agents.
16. EliseAI, $4B. Housing and healthcare. New.
17. Hippocratic AI, $3.5B. Patient agents.
18. Parloa, $3B. Voice agents.
19. Genspark, $2.6B. General agents.
20. Armadin, $2.5B+. Security agents. New.
3 things the chart says.
1. The queue mostly cleared.
In September, 5 reported raises added up to a $42B markup. Cognition closed $1B above its reported price, Harvey and Clay closed on theirs, and $28.6B of the $42B landed. Mercor has been in talks at $20B since July. Legora's reported ask fell from $10B+ to $8.5B.
2. The biggest moves were not in the queue.
Instinct went from $2.5B to $10B in 33 days, and it is still in early access. Factory went from $1.5B in April to $5B. Neither was on the raising list.
3. Coding still runs the board.
Cognition, Lovable, Replit and Factory are worth $75.3B, 39% of the top 20. Cognition alone is now worth more than #2, #3 and #4 combined.
Save this. If Mercor closes at $20B, it jumps to #2.

if you want to understand where AI video is actually heading, watch this 3-minute clip.
Alex Mashrabov says DTC companies are rebuilding their entire GTM around AI:
• hundreds or thousands of ads every week
• constant creative testing
• AI-generated short-form content at scale
and the revenue already reflects it.
just over 50% of Higgsfield's revenue now comes from businesses.
less than 10% comes from mobile.
his conclusion is pretty clear:
they're never going to win by fighting for $20/month subscriptions.
the real market is companies rebuilding how they create + distribute content.

Build a LinkedIn GTM funnel.
Here's my exact playbook:
• Pick ONE painful problem companies already spend money solving
• Choose an ICP narrow enough that I can name the first 1,000 companies myself
• Interview 30+ potential customers and use their exact problems/language to tighten the product and messaging
• Build the smallest version of the product that gets someone to the desired outcome
• Personally onboard the first 20 customers and document every question, objection and point of friction
• Optimize the founder's LinkedIn profile around ONE clear buyer, problem and outcome
• Post daily around customer problems, product use cases, founder lessons, case studies, internal data and strong opinions about the market
• Repurpose the best LinkedIn content to X instead of building two completely separate content engines
• Build 2 genuinely useful lead magnets every week around problems the product solves
• Make the product the natural next step inside those resources through workflows, examples and product demos
• Pull everyone commenting, following, downloading resources and repeatedly engaging with the founder
• Enrich them by company/title, filter against the ICP and prioritize the highest-intent accounts
• Run LinkedIn DMs + cold email against those warm accounts AND companies showing external buying signals
• Record every sales call and automatically extract objections, buying triggers, competitor mentions and exact customer language
• Feed those insights straight back into the content, product, landing page and outbound copy every week
• Turn every meaningful customer result into a case study, founder post, testimonial, sales asset and new outbound angle
• Track content → profile views → signups/demos → opportunities → revenue so I know which topics actually create buyers
• Once one founder profile is consistently generating demand, add the co-founder/technical founder and repurpose winning

I very much look forward to seeing more startups (not necessarily venture backed)! Most will be tiny serving niches but customers will love the varieties like we do with restaurants. GTM will be key for all though and it’ll probably be an expansion of the founders’ network.I very much look forward to seeing more startups (not necessarily venture backed)! and he says TWO GTM decisions mattered most:
1. treat the pilot like the sale
when you're creating a category, customers don't already know what “good” looks like.
so Legora made the pilot elite:
• education
• adoption
• ROI
• use-case discovery
• responsiveness
• actually delivering value before the contract
most customers tried before they bought.
2. hire 2 post-sale people for every 1 pre-sale hire

ongoing transformation.
because as he puts it:
“unless people actually implement and use it… all the ARR, our growth doesn't matter.”
a lot of AI companies obsess over getting the deal.
Legora obsessed over making sure the product actually became part of how the customer worked.
this 4-minute clip is probably one of the best GTM breakdowns I've seen from a company scaling this fast.

Here’s why it’s going to WRECK ZoomInfo and Apollo over the next 36 months:
First, we have to set the stage...
——
WHAT IS MOLTSETS AND HOW IS IT DIFFERENT???
MoltSets will deliver on five key pillars of contact data that until now have not existed:
1/ Unlimited APIs
2/ High Quality
3/ High coverage
4/ High API rate limits
5/ THROWAWAY PRICE
You used to be able to get 3 to 4 of these, but until MoltSets, you couldn’t get all five.
——
HOW ARE WE DELIVERING HIGH QUALITY???
We are going to re-scrape all 47m international LinkedIn slugs every 3 days, and re-validate all of their corresponding email addresses every 3 days. For $27/mo.
It’s like Apollo AND MillionVerifier at a fraction of the price. That solution will be live Nov 1.
To reiterate … Every record you pull will have a “profile last updated” and “email last validated” under 3 days ago.
Insane.
——
IS IT REALLY UNLIMITED FOR EVERYTHING?
We price plans with rate limits. Our $27/mo guy is an individual rep working out of Claude. The $97 guy is a marketer at an early stage SaaS rolling an agentic GTM stack. The $397 guy is a leadgen agency working 10 accounts. The $997 guys are Taylor and 🦾Eric.
Oh yea - you will have to pay 15c for real-time carrier-verified mobile numbers through bolt-on plans starting at $27/mo. Should be 1/2 the price of ANYWHERE else.
——
WILL YOU HAVE VENDOR WATERFALLS?
We can’t figure out how to do that without horrible latency, since we are API-only and not storing any of your data once you pull it. So NO. But everybody says our coverage is great, so we decided we didn’t need to add waterfalls.
——
WHY MOLTSETS WRECKS ZOOMINFO AND APOLLO
For a brief history of disruption in the contact data market:
- Dunn and Bradstreet, great data, horrible UX, $100k+
- ZoomInfo - great UX, $20k+
- Apollo - Unlimited $99/seat —> but now $149/mo for 1 se
