Here's my 6-step process (and prompts) for ranking in Google's AI Overviews:
1. Pick one search you actually want to win
Ideally a buying-intent query that already triggers an AI Overview.
2. Track how Google answers it
Collect the AI Overview over 7+ days.
You can do this in 2 ways:
FREE
Search it manually every day and save:
- The full answer
- Citations
- Date
PAID
Add the prompt to a tool like https://t.co/IbVSm7Cw9R and automatically track the answers + citations over time.
3. Find what keeps showing up
Paste all the answers into ChatGPT or Claude and add the following prompt:
--
Analyse these Google AI Overview answers and find the patterns that appear across them.
Identify:
- Recurring claims
- Repeated entities
- Common sources
- Common answer formats
- Repeated information/order
- Major differences
For each pattern, show how often it appears (e.g. 8/10 answers).
Then summarise the most consistent patterns Google seems to favour.
--
You’re basically building a picture of what Google consistently includes for that search.
4. Find what Google is rewarding
Now study the pages that get cited most frequently by using the following prompt:
--
Analyse these pages that Google cites in the AI Overview and tell me what they have in common.
[paste URLs]
Focus on:
- How quickly they answer the question
- Topics and entities they cover
- How they structure the information
- What evidence, data or examples they include
- Whether they use lists, tables, comparisons or steps
- What gaps or differences exist between them
Then summarise:
1. The main patterns across the cited pages
2. What Google seems to be rewarding
3. What a better page should include to compete
--
You want to understand both what they have in common AND what’s missing.
5. Build something better
Use everything you found to create or improve your page.
- Cover the important topics
- Include th

There's a free 500 billion parameter AI that does the same thinking on a quarter of the power.
Most people have no idea it exists yet.
Here's the problem it solves:
Your AI slows to a crawl right when you need it. Hits a limit. Taps out.
Every lab has been playing one game: make it bigger.
Reflection AI asked a better question: what if you get the same answer with way less work?
Here's how Beam does it:
→ 501B parameters. Only 23B switch on per task.
→ Same reasoning scores as GLM 5.2. 3 to 4x less compute.
→ They rewarded it for solving things without rambling. It gets to the point.
→ There's a dial. Easy task? Keep it short. Hard task? Let it think.
→ 1 million token context. Text only for now.
Honest part: Kimi K3 still beats it on raw power. Reflection says so themselves.
But when you use AI all day, "nearly as good for far less" is the part you feel.
Weights drop free later this month. Wait list is open now.
The lesson: match the model to the job. You don't need the heaviest one for everything.

Manus 2.0 just turned video editing into an agent workflow. And it fact-checks its own videos before you post.

Here's the problem it solves:
AI video models make a great shot. But a shot is not a video.
A video needs a hook, music, captions, cuts on the beat, and a point that lands.
Hundreds of tiny choices. Most tools do the first one and leave.
Here's what Manus does from one sentence:
→ Searches the web to see what's worth making
→ Writes the script
→ Generates the shots
→ Adds music, voiceover, sound effects, captions
→ Writes code for motion graphics and charts
→ Screenshots its own work. Fixes what looks off.
In one test, it worked out how to make slow motion on its own. Nobody taught it.
In another, it flagged that one stat came from a fan page and said "double check before posting."
Here's the part nobody is talking about:
It hands you back the editable timeline.
Every shot, caption, song, and effect on its own layer.
Lower the music. Only the music moves.
Drag clips with your mouse. Or just say "tighten this part." Both edit the same project.
And it works with your real footage too. Point it at a folder.
125 clips. 2 hours. It picked the best moments and cut an 11-minute video.
You bring the taste. It brings the hands.
Save this. You'll want this setup later.

It could help you:
→ Find exposed API keys.
→ Catch weak login systems.
→ Check who can see private data.
→ Spot unsafe forms.
→ Review risky app connections.

Google hasn’t officially launched it yet.
But this could add a very important step before you hit deploy.

I tested three of the biggest AI agents side by side.
Grok Bot is the smoothest and easiest for beginners.
Hermes Agent is open-source and the most customizable if you're technical.
Dots has potential but still feels buggy and slow right now.
The best agent is the one that fits how you actually work.

"AI content doesn't rank" is the wrong lesson.

What Google ignores isn't AI.
It's content that adds nothing new to the internet.
Here's what actually ranks, based on Julian's setup:
✔ Every fact pulled from a real case study
✔ Your actual results and numbers, nothing invented
✔ Clear structure, every sentence on its own line
✔ Smart internal and external links
SEOs call this information gain. Google rewards it. 🧠
The numbers he reports:
→ One site: zero to 325 clicks a day
→ Another: up to 125 clicks a day
→ Timeline: 3 to 6 months for real results
And one site stayed flat from April to November before it broke out of the sandbox.
Most people quit at page 10.
The ones who keep publishing are the ones who see the curve.
Save this video, you'll need it the next time someone says AI content can't rank.

Here's why this is a real jump:
Hooks (before):
→ React to a few events as they happen
→ Watch, but can't change much
Mods (now):
✔ Rewrite a prompt before it reaches the model
✔ Draw brand-new panels on your screen
✔ Swap out built-in features entirely
Anthropic even turned some of its own features, like the diff view, into mods you can switch off or replace.
And they've said more built-in features are moving to mods over time.
My take: the people who learn this early will have a setup that fits like a glove.
Everyone else keeps running the plain version out of the box.
One tip from my own testing:
build mods with Opus 5.5. It felt noticeably smarter than Sonnet 5.5 at getting the code right the first time. 🧠

Hooks were step one.
Mods are the real upgrade.
Here's why this matters more than it looks. 🔥
Claude Code already had hooks.
They let you react to certain moments as they happened.
But hooks couldn't:
✔ Rewrite what was happening
✔ Draw new things on your screen
✔ Replace an existing feature
Mods do all three.

A mod doesn't just watch.
It steps in before, after, or instead of an action.
What that unlocks:
→ Scrub messy output before Claude sees it
→ Hide private keys automatically
→ Pause a command to ask you first
→ Re-run a command a smarter way
→ Change the color theme or layout
Julian reports that 2 mods he asked for were ready in about 60 seconds, without writing a single line of code.
My take: the people who customise early will have a setup built around how they work.
Save this video, you'll see why this is a bigger shift than it seems.
